As the daughter of Indonesian migrants growing up in the suburbs of Melbourne, I've always lived in the space between cultures. My love for travel started early, fuelled by books that promised adventure in distant lands long before I had a passport in my hand.

Today, I live on the beautiful, sun-drenched Catalan coast with my husband and young daughters. My life has changed, but my favourite kind of book remains the same: the ones that truly transport you. I look for stories that don't just describe a setting, but allow you to feel the pulse, the history, and the unique "vibe" of a destination.

I built this platform because I believe travellers deserve better than generic "Top 10" lists. I wanted to create a space where recommendations feel personal, intentional, and culturally rich.

Every book you see here has been hand-picked. They are curated from my own personal bookshelf or from the trusted recommendations of friends and fellow bookworms. (AI hasn't quite mastered the "soul" of a good story yet 😉)
